everybody told us the seasonal flu was much worse

if we don't self-isolate we'll all be doomed
the hospitals are all running out of room
the experts recommend we remain indoors
except for once a week it's cool to go to the store

if we don't observe social distance
they will probably start the quarantine all over again

I canceled my plans
I put on a mask
