Sleepy Seahorse returns!

'Awkward Obscure Unpopular' was first released digitally on January 1st, 2020, and by March the album was well on its way to becoming the worst album of the year, both sales-wise and from a cultural impact perspective.

When the world's attention turned to the COVID_19 Pandemic, Sleepy Seahorse quietly erased their flop from streaming platforms. Plans for a Boise, Idaho album release concert and subsequent world tour were scrapped, and no physical copies of 'AOU' were ever manufactured. The band dropped several hints online that they weren't going to be posting online as much anymore.

Just when things were starting to look bleak, the fast spread of coronavirus caused the entire world to shut everything down and stay home. This gave Sleepy Seahorse time to revisit 'AOU,' which soon led to a re-recording, remixing, and reimagining of the entire album.

The result is presented herein with the re-release of 'Awkward Obscure Unpopular' by Sleepy Seahorse.
