peewee was an honest guy he lived indoors but slept outside
back and forth between the eyes, peewee swore he would provide
the family had watched him try and even offered him a ride
for several years and passed his prime they held a candle to his eyes
everyone could see he was nodding off to sleep, say what?
so everyone agreed to let him think he was free
an open-minded adult
now peewee pulled and peewee pried he sang and danced and came alive
he plucked and picked and watched his idols fall from grace before his eyes
the family stilll thinks he'll be fine just give him some air, some space and wine, he'll be back to his old self in no time
a little grey in his hair and some wrinkle lines
i saw the light
good ol' peewee will be the sole survivor
